Lion King character sketches

Perfect thing to do when you have an art block; watch a movie or grab some screenshots and attempt to simulate the style. It's surprisingly fun, and must be beneficial in some way or another. All I know is, after doing plenty of these doodles; I can draw Simba slightly better.
I have more of these doodles, just don't want to spam my DA with them, so I submitted my 2 favourites. Another sketch I liked was Mufasa, but he's not finished and therefore will not be here D8<
